Double Cheese Burger & Smiles


· 2 slices of cheddar cheese
· 1 egg
· 100gr of yellow onion
· 30gr spinach
· 2 beef patty (75g each)
· 6 pcs McCain Smiles
2x slices of bacon +/- 30gr


· Bake the smiles in the oven at 200C for 10min, using a baking tray with parchment paper
·  In a sauté, start by cooking them in butter using low/med heat for 15-20 minutes, until they caramelize
· Remove the onions from the sauté, season the 2 patties with salt & pepper and cook them on each side for 2min.
· Fry the bacon slices and the egg
· Assembly the cheese burger by placing one beef patty on the bottom, cheddar cheese, onions, beef patty, cheddar cheese,  bacon, fried egg & fresh spinach
· Serve together with the smiles and garnish the plate with ketchup
