Spicy Korean Chicken Wings & Cajun Fries

Ingredients

· McCain® Seasoned Battered Fries 5/16″ (Cajun) – 200 g
· Chicken wings – 8 nos   · Gochujang – 1 cup
· Honey – 1 tbsp   · White vinegar – 1 tbsp
· Dark soy sauce – 1 tbsp   · Garlic cloves – 4 nos
· Garlic cloves – 4 nos   · Tomato sauce – 1/4 cup

Preparation

For the sauce
· Mix 1/2 cup of gochujang, caster sugar and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Keep chilled.
To marinate the chicken wings
· In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of gochujang, dark soy sauce, chopped garlic cloves, tomato paste, white vinegar, honey and a pinch of salt & pepper.
· Rub the chicken wings with the marinade and leave for at least 2 hours in a chilled condition.
· Roast the chicken wings in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes at 190˚C.
For the fries
· Fry McCain® Seasoned Battered Fries 5/16″ (Cajun) for 2 minutes 30 seconds at 190˚C.
· Serve immediately together with the chicken wings and dipping sauce.
